Skiing In Utah


I'm still recovering from Jet lag, having got back from Utah yesterday morning. Andy and I spent a lovely two weeks with my parents and some friends (thats my dad on the left in the photo). It snowed every day we were there and we were skiing in knee deep powder, a great experience, especially if like me you are used to the sheet ice that is more usual in European resorts. If you've not skiied (or boarded) in America before I'd say - go to Utah! - the best snow in the world and the facilities are the lap of luxury compared to places in Europe. Also the equipment is so cheap compared to in the UK, I bought some skis, a helmet and some snowboarding boots so am now feeling very brassic. Worth it though - a great time was had by all
