Update

Well, that's another job fallen by the wayside.... I have moved on again, and at the beginning of May I quit my job at CSRC and moved back out to Italy to spend some time with Andy. Its been very busy, we've had lots of people out to stay with us and we've also spent a lot of time with Andy's family in France. I have stayed in touch with the Centre though, and went back when I got back to the UK a couple of weeks ago to catch up with the staff and of course the horses. It all looked a bit different from when I left... then it was cold and wet with mud everywhere, and now it is roasting hot and everyone is basking in the beautiful sunshine. I have missed everyone a lot but of course I have enjoyed being in Italy too. We managed to visit Venice this year for two days, which was lovely however very expensive. We saw St Marks Square and the basilica, the Rialto bridge, and we spent a morning on the island of Murano, where we found some lovely glass presents for the two weddings that we have been invited to this summer. We were also fortunate enough to be in Italy when the team won the World Cup - the celebrations took Andy and I by surprise as even when they won the semi final there was mad celebrating in the main square until the early hours of the morning!
